Bienvenido :)

The Talks · Great new site*

Creo que la inspiración - y no solo para diseñar o hacer- si no para el "seguir haciendo", puede venir de cualquier cosa; acabo de encontrarme con esta página y hay ciertas preguntas-respuestas que son worth-reading: http://the-talks.com
Tom Ford

Mr. Ford, have you had a midlife crisis?
Yes. Leaving Gucci was devastating for me. Devastating because I had really put everything into that for fifteen years and all of a sudden I had no identity. “Who am I? What am I doing? I have no forum to speak to anyone anymore or to convey my thoughts or ideas.” Maybe I drank a little too much – living in London that’s a very easy thing to do. The emphasis in my life maybe switched to things that were not the important things. So yeah, I had a bit of a midlife crisis. I wish there was a better term for that. It comes to everybody, maybe in your thirties, maybe in your forties, maybe in your sixties or seventies, who knows. You get to the moment where you feel the clock is ticking and you are wondering if you are really getting the most out of your life.

Jack Nicholson

What’s your secret?
I’m available.

Sofia Coppola

How did you find your own way?
It took me a while; I just tried different things. I moved away from home, went to college, and even started my own clothing company that had partners in Japan, but once I made my first short film I just knew. And finding the book The Virgin Suicides was the turning point actually because I loved that book and felt protective over it.

Zac Posen

What were some things that had to shut down?
For example I created a fragrance that never launched. I worked on the packaging directly with Fabien Baron for a year. I have had these experiences with people and I am really relieved that some of them didn’t happen. It is what it is. If a company closes, a company closes. Thank god you own the juice you worked on.

Valentino

When you started your career as a young man in Paris, did you ever think that you would become such a brilliant, internationally recognized legend?
My dear, when you start it’s quite difficult to dream for everybody. But of course you have aspirations.

If the young Valentino could meet you today, what would he think?
I think he would be very, very happy because I was always a very big dreamer. I was always dreaming of beauty. My mother used to say, you think of stupid things all the time.

The most architectural thing :: ropes and rules (╯3╰)

The game of architecture is an intricate

Play with rules that you may break or accept.

These rules, like so many knots that cannot

Be untied, have the erotic significance of

bondage: the more numerous and sophisticated

The restraints, the greater the pleasure.

Game Called Life por 'LEFTOVER CUTIES'

#chan!

Kicking Off

A veces algunas ideas se leen mejor en inglés. Al comienzo es difícil salir por completo de la rutina, empezar una empresa, contactar, hacer, liderar. :)

Some people dream of success, others make it happen. Of course, you can dream as much as you like but waiting for things to happen gets you nowhere. Get active and start making things happen.

Whatever journey your path takes you on, the most important thing is to have passion in what you do.

How many of you went to college, got your degree, and ended up doing something totally unrelated to your major? Studying it did not make you passionate about it. It wasn’t your path.

Education or even talent aren’t worth much without passion. So do the stuff that you love and you’ve always wanted to do because without it, you’ll feel stuck and unfulfilled. If you work in a bank but your dream is to be a naturopath, then make those changes now. Make this year the turning point in your life. When you do what you love you will be rewarded — it will just flow naturally.

Look at those around you who just make things happen. They have a clear goal in mind and they know where they want to go. They don’t always have a plan but they have the passion and the tenacity to make it work, and they achieve their goals as the end result.

Trust us when we tell you this. If something important to you, you WILL find a way. If it isn’t, you’ll find an excuse. It’s that simple. Find your way. Make it work, whatever it takes. Are you 10 kilos heavier than you should be? It is simple: Commit, go to that gym every day, no excuses, and train until you lose those 10 kilos. When you accomplish this, you’ll have the confidence to do more. Set a goal and make it happen.

Want to stop smoking? Stop making excuses, take control of your circumstances before they take control of you.

Success isn’t just about what you accomplish in your life, it’s about what you inspire others to do and when you do accomplish something as simple as quitting smoking or losing weight, you’ll inspire others to do the same. Anyone can change the world, and everybody should try. And it all starts with your own life.

Stop waiting for the perfect time to do what you want to do. Do it now.
